Hidden Dalmatian Treasures Cruise will take you to some less known natural and cultural treasures of central Dalmatia. During the day you can swim and sunbathe from your boat and afternoons and evenings are free for individual exploration of places you visits.


Route includes visit to places like Omiš- the former pirates bay at the canyon of Cetina River, Pučišća- the home of Croatian stone masonry, Korčula- birthplace of Marko Polo, Lastovo- the most distant Croatian island and preserved Nature Park, Vis- island once closed to the tourist and now open again with cultural and natural unique untouched, Starigrad- one of the oldest urban settlements in Croatia with ancient fields protected by UNESCO, Stomorska- typical fisherman village and island known by oil producing.


Boats are traditional Croatian wooden or newer steel boats with average capacity of 30 passengers. Usually there are 5 members of crew: captain, cook, waiter and two sailors or deckhands.  Accommodation is in 2 bedded cabins with private or sharing toilette and bathroom. Boats serve continental breakfast and set menu lunch which is included in price. Drinks are not included in price and there is bar on boat which serves all kinds of drinks.

 

Sailing is usually during morning and early afternoon when boat dock to the port and guest are free for their own activities all till next morning when the boat leaves to next port. Sailing also includes visits to small bays and swimming and jumping from the boat in crystal clear sea. Therefore this tour is combination of cultural visits and relaxing and enjoying on the sea.

Itinerary
 

Saturday: Split-Omiš or Pučišća

After introduction to ship rules and your crew the boat will leave Split port and head towards Omiš on the coast or Pučišća at island of Brač depending on weather conditions. You will have lunch on board and swimming break before docking into port for the rest of the day and evening.  Omiš is coastal place located at the canyon of River Cetina between amazing cliffs of the mountain behind. This nature makes if perfect for activities like rafting, canyoning or free climbing. Fortress above the town, numerous churches, restaurants, ice-cream shops, bars, sandy beach and lively atmosphere are other attractions of Omiš.  Place of Pučišća are famous by its stone masonry school and stone quarry.  Diocletian Palace and world famous buildings like White House in Washington were built from these stones. This quiet and picturesque place will be perfect for start of your relaxing holiday.

Sunday: Omiš - Korčula

We depart after breakfast and with lunch and swimming stops on the way we arrive to Korčula in afternoon.  Korčula has some unique traditions and features, so don't miss noticing them.  Some of them are special dance called ‘Moreška' performed once a week, cakes and sweets made by special recipes which can be bought in local shops,  beautiful facades of buildings made by local stone masonry masters, numerous cats walking and living free around the town, rich flowers blooming in gardens of local houses.. For your evening we recommend sipping a cocktail in the cocktail bar on the top of one of the towers in the walls, but not for those with fear of heights!

 

Monday: Korčula - Lastovo

Today we go to Lastovo, the furthest inhabited island of Adriatic and protected Nature Park. The biggest settlement is the village of Lastovo located in the middle of the island to be far away from enemy sights during the history and unique by unusual chimneys at the local houses. There are few other places by the sea, but generally tranquillity and green nature is the main characteristic of this island. Rent a bike in the port of Ubli where your boat docks and discover the beauty of this place.

 

Tuesday: Lastovo -Vis

We leave Lastovo early in the morning and go to the island of Vis, the former navy base, closed for the tourist for decades of Yugoslavia, but opened again in the 90's. Isolation during the years helped the island to keep the charm of Mediterranean as it once was.  Weather permitting we will dock either in Komiža or town of Vis, both beautiful fisherman places and visit one of the special natural phenomenon's Green or Blue Caves of island of Vis.

 

Wednesday: Vis- Stari Grad

After breakfast and possible visit to Blue Cave we are going to island of Hvar and in the afternoon we will arrive to Stari Grad, one of the oldest urban settlements of Croatia. Fields and their dividing around Stari Grad are the same as they were in Roman times and therefore they are protected by UNESCO.  Spend your afternoon discovering the nature and monuments of this amazing place.

 

Thursday: Stari Grad- Stomorska

Another day of sailing, swimming and sea enjoying is in front of us. In afternoon we arrive to Stomorska, small fisherman village at island of Šolta. Olive tree fields, vineyards and old stone houses  are characteristics of this island. Enjoy another peaceful night of your holiday on Dalmatian coast.

 

Friday: Stomorska- Split

Today you will have more swimming stops in different bays of Brač and Šolta to use the maximum of the sea in your last day of cruise. Arrival to your first and last port Split is in afternoon. Spend your evening in lively streets of Diocletian Palace, go for a walk along the seaside to Meštrović Gallery or gather your fellow passengers for a dinner in Old Town.

 

Saturday: Split

As the breakfast is finished, the time to say goodbye to your crew and your new friends has come. Hope to see you again!
