Villa Diana is a family-owned hotel located within 5-minute's walk from the Old Town and Port. The hotel is located in a building which is a part of Split's cultural heritage and was built in 1881 by one of the oldest families in Split, Kuzmanić!
The building has been restored by strict conservation rules to preserve its authentic Dalmatian architecture typical for this part of town called Radunica. Radunica is an old part of town, a suburb of the Diocletian Palace, where hard-working fishermen and laborers lived.
Today it is almost the same except there are many tourists who choose to rent rooms or apartments in this area as they like to experience this unique Mediterranean atmosphere in narrow stone streets and houses where children play football, women chat over balconies and men play cards and drink wine on the benches. Every year Radunica holds a festival called 'Dani Radunice' or 'Days of Radunica' with 5-day card and boccia competitions, traditional music shows, poetry nights and free wine and fish for everybody!
Hotel Villa Diana has 6 rooms and one apartment on top of the hotel. It is perfect for those who seek the comfort of a 3-star hotel, but in a typical environment of the region. The hotel has a small 24-hour reception and restaurant with terrace serving breakfast included in price. There is also an À la carte menu for lunch and dinner.
