Katarina Line is a family oriented business founded in Opatija, Croatia in 1992 by Katarina and her family. She is no stranger to travelling; Katarina lived in Africa for 15 years and considers travel her primary hobby and way of life. For her, travel and tourism has been an integral part of her life and the founding of Katarina Line comes as no surprise. Since its inception in 1992, Katarina started as a family run business and with the help of her family grew to a company of 20 employees with 3 offices offering numerous cruises and services in and Croatia. At Katarina Line, Katarina feels that. "Tourism can be successful if all employees feel like they are part of a family!"
This friendly, family oriented approach has proven successful; in 2007 Katarina Line provided 40,000 tourists an unforgettable vacation experience and the number of Katarina Line customers was 20% higher the following year.
